Work setup
Just the essentials: vehicle, trips, fare, platform fee, and running cost.
How this calculator works
This calculator uses a simple daily earnings model. First it calculates paid kilometers from your trips and average trip distance. Then it adds dead mileage to estimate total kilometers the car actually runs. Finally, it subtracts platform fee and fuel or charging cost to show estimated daily and monthly profit.
The result is meant to be quick and practical. It is not a full accounting model, so it does not include tolls, waiting charges, incentives, maintenance, or EMI unless you estimate those separately.
Frequently asked questions
What is dead mileage?
Dead mileage means the extra distance you drive without a passenger, such as going to pickup points or returning after a drop. It increases fuel or charging cost but does not directly earn fare.
Does this work for petrol and EV autos?
Yes. Select one vehicle type at a time. The calculator will show only the relevant running cost setup for a petrol or EV auto.
What is platform percentage?
Platform percentage is the part of gross fare taken by the app. If the platform takes 20%, you keep the remaining 80% before fuel or charging cost.
Why is my estimated profit lower than expected?
A high platform fee, low fare per trip, low mileage, or high dead mileage can reduce profit quickly. Try changing those values to see what affects earnings the most.
Is this an exact earnings calculator?
No. It gives a simple estimate to help you plan daily and monthly cab income in a quick, easy way.
